I would give 20 stars if I could! My journey to Dr. Skinner was horrible. When he met me I was completely broken and riddled with anxiety and depression from dental implant surgery at a different practice. While skilled at implant placement, my prior doctor lacked the hands on experience of doing impressions and relied on 3D technology to create All-On-4 dentures which did not fit my mouth. In fact, they were so large that the bottom teeth came up over my top lip and dug into my bottom gums causing major irritation to the nerve, which in turn caused horrific 24-hr non-stop pain for months!! I lost my confidence in this entire process. I felt hopeless, and become lost in anxiety and depression. I walked around without teeth for 8.5 months while my mouth healed from surgery and nerve damage (I was supposed to wake up with a full set of functioning teeth upper and lower). I spent most of this time at home due to the mental anguish that accompanied this nightmare. When I did leave the house I had to wear a mask in an attempt to protect myself from additional humiliation and judgement from people who had no idea of the nightmare I was living. This is where my journey with Dr. Skinner be

Before becoming his patient I had anxiety about dentistry. He has been taking care of me for about a decade now (might be longer, my memory isn't the greatest). And I truly believe that if it wasn't for him I would be a lot worse off. The One great thing I can say about him is that he has the steadiest hand. Half the time I don't even notice when he is applying the anesthetic. And it's just my anxiety I have to deal with, never any pain.

There are so many wonderful things I could say about Dr. Skinner and his team, but I’ll try to keep this review focused and to the point. Dr. Skinner gave me something I truly never believed was possible: healthy, functional teeth and a smile I’m proud of. He spent countless hours reconstructing my bite with extraordinary care and precision. Not only did he restore my smile, he gave me back the confidence to eat foods I never thought I’d be able to enjoy again. Just as meaningful was the way he helped me understand that my dental issues were not the result of neglect, but of the complex mechanics of my bite and genetics—factors that were largely beyond my control. That understanding alone was incredibly healing. Dr. Skinner and his talented, compassionate staff were consistently patient, supportive, and deeply committed to restoring both dental health and aesthetics. Every step of the process was handled with professionalism, empathy, and skill. When people say “you’re in good hands,” they are absolutely talking about Dr. Skinner and his team. I am profoundly grateful for their work and care. — Rebecca Busch

I spent an entire day in the chair getting extensive work done by Dr. Skinner and his staff to address multiple issues on my teeth. I have to say this was actually a very pleasant day with no pain despite the extensive amount of work he had to do in my mouth. He is very knowledgeable, informative, patient, and highly skilled at what he does. At my first appointment he did a thorough evaluation offering multiple viable options and price points. When I went back he kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the process, provided ample breaks, and I left with a mouthful of wonderful work that I am extremely pleased with. This included a beautiful temporary set of crowns for 6 of my top front teeth. I can’t wait to see how well the permanent crowns work given the diligence and pride he takes in doing a great job and that came through in his demeanor throughout the day. His staff was just as good, kind and helpful as he was himself! I have already recommended several people to his practice as I was very impressed with the work and the value I got for a reasonable price.

Dr. Skinner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He explains what needs to be done and lays out a plan for you on your first visit. He is a perfectionist! He doesn’t stop until he is very satisfied with his work.

Dr. skinner and the staff are AWESOME! I Was depressed and didn’t know what to do with the problems regarding my teeth. I’ve been to three dentists that were hesitant to help. THEN…. At my first visit Dr. Skinner spent time with me which calmed me and gave me hope. Let me tell everyone this man is an artist!! I now smile and I can chew my food with complete confidence. God bless you Dr. Skinner and staff. I am humbled by your commitment to your patients!!

I rarely write reviews. However, in this case, I feel the care I received from Dr. Skinner’s entire office and staff deserves recognition. I’ve had many dental procedures over several decades. In all that time I can’t remember ever having experienced the degree of sincere, personal interest in my comfort as a patient. Every effort was taken to ensure I thoroughly understood each step along the way. When it came time to anesthetize the area, I literally couldn’t tell Dr. Skinner was done let alone finished with the needle. From the moment I walked into his office I was treated like a family member home for a holiday meal. I say that because it was just before Thanksgiving and Dr Skinner wouldn’t leave until he was sure I could enjoy my Thanksgiving dinner pain free. There are many more great things I’d like to say about my experience with him and his staff. The most notable is his service to our country as a United States Naval Officer. Dr Skinner exemplifies what it means to serve.

Outstanding service! Dr Skinner is as professional and considerate and knowledgeable as any doctor or dentist that I’ve ever been a patient of. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Skinner and his staff. I’m so happy that I was referred to this practice. The Best!
